Meet the Club Pro

Tennis Pro – Dave Rowat

The Fergus Tennis Club is fortunate to have Dave Rowat as our resident Club Pro.

Dave grew up in Guelph and has held coaching positions at various clubs in the Guelph/Kitchener-Waterloo area, most recently with the Chicopee and Waterloo Tennis Clubs. Dave also has experience with community tennis clubs such as the Ayr Tennis Club and Beachwood communities in Waterloo.

Dave currently spends the winter season at a club in Ft. Myers, Florida where he’s involved in running junior programs and coaching adult teams. Dave is certified with both Tennis Canada and the US Tennis Association.
